Why stainless?

Stainless steel bottles use a vacuum-insulated double wall — the liquid only contacts metal, never plastic. They hold temperature for hours and last for years with basic care. The math against single-use plastic works out after about six months of daily use.

Care tip

Bottle brush + baking soda once a week. Skip the dishwasher — high heat damages the insulation seal over time.

The honest tradeoff: Stainless is heavier and pricier upfront than plastic. If weight matters — long hikes, kids carrying their own — the 21oz Hydro Flask is the lighter pick.
